It is truly surprising what a death contemplation process can unlock.

We come on earth to practice impermanence and detachment – it’s the soul’s biggest lesson in letting go.

Still, we don’t want to think that something will finish, and we try to hold on as much as we can, to the people in our lives, to our jobs, to the familiar… we even deny our mortality, acting like we will be here forever.

But the more disconnected we are from the concept of death and the energy of change, the more disconnected we are from life. When we befriend death, we live life fully.

About Event

The Q’ero Peruvian Shamans open the door to metaphorical death and practice dying yearly, contemplating what this experience brings, what they are still attached to and what requires healing, adjusting. This is an invitation to experience this process and practice dying. You will be guided to embrace the perception of death and enter 'The Death Lodge. When we embrace the notion of impermanence, a veil of illusion and numbness lifts. The heart opens and forgives. This experience brings closure to unfinished chapters. It is a process of letting go of who we thought we were, honoring our endings, and welcoming our future. It reminds us of presence, forgiveness, intentionality, and a duty to live life to the fullest.
